Restart Football is a national football development program intended to rebuild football and regain Sri Lankan football’s lost reputation. By debunking the mindset of football being a “poor man’s sport” in Sri Lanka, the Restart Football campaign was a game-changer that succeeded in giving the people and the sport a new hope.
With a detailed and methodical 4 month-long campaign, we generated an awareness of the sport and its new developments among the existing football community in Sri Lanka. In addition to this, we were also focused on expanding the audience, and providing people with a better understanding of the sport and its growth potential. Instead of simply utilizing social media posts and images, we created and executed a thorough plan using several channels; our goal was to reach the audience in an emotional and inspirational way.
This process included an entire scope of services including social media marketing, PR link building and publications, music production, video production, content writing, and viral content planning.

Our strategy’s outcome was proved through the massive brand awareness and engagement that was generated, as well as the positive feedback of supporters. By bringing back the glory of a lost community, the Restart Football campaign catered to the needs of the intended audience and attracted newer prospects with its extensive plan.
